A Dream RealizedChild: I have this dream again and again. I don’t know why. I can’t shake it. It stays with me for days afterwards. Then it strikes again. I don’t know what it means. What is it that I’m supposed to see, to hear? As the years pass the feeling in the dream darkens. It gets scarier and scarier as the time passes. It has begun to haunt me in my waking hours. Then one-day tragedy strikes. My mother, my sister, they’re ripped from our home. No one will tell me why. I’m not a child! Yet they treat me as though I were. The stench of death permeates the air.
